CRESTOR® Charity Challenge Contributes To
Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers

May 17, 2004 — Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers was a big winner at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. AstraZeneca presented a check to the organization for $50,000 as part of the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge, the centerpiece of AstraZeneca’s multi-year partnership with the PGA TOUR.

“Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers is honored to be the recipient of the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge,” said Kent Skipper, SCYFC executive director. “This generous donation will allow us to continue to address the mental health needs of Dallas area children and their families.”

With this week’s contribution, AstraZeneca and the PGA TOUR, through the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge, have donated $1 million to charity since the program began in March.

“We are very pleased to support the critical services Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers provides to our community,” said Jan Shioji, AstraZeneca Business Center Director for Dallas. "Charitable donations and health education are at the heart of our initiative with the PGA TOUR and we are thrilled that our contribution will go toward helping meet the critical needs of Dallas families,” Shioji continued.

Through the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge, AstraZeneca, a leading pharmaceutical company and maker of the medication CRESTOR, will donate $2.7 million this year to designated health care and PGA TOUR charities. At each of the selected tournaments, a $100,000 contribution will be made; $50,000 will be donated to a healthcare-related charity selected by the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge winner for his on-course performance entering the final round, and $50,000 will be donated to the local charity selected by the tournament.
