Plans are underway to launch the Family Works
Center in early 2006. The Family Works Center
was developed following last year’s closing of the
residential treatment program at the Salesmanship Club
Youth Camp. The Family Works Center will house three innovative
new programs, which will combine prevention, early intervention,
and treatment services for children and their families.
Services offered by the Family Works Center will include:

After school day treatment for troubled
adolescents and their parents through the Therapeutic
After School Program.

Comprehensive assessment services for
young children and their families through the Infant
- Child Comprehensive Assessment Program.

Parent - child training for families
with young children to encourage language and social
development through Family Life Education.
This innovative new center will be located in an underserved
area of Dallas. An exact location has not yet been determined.
