Parent Education Groups Bring Vital Training To Community
 Parent
education groups focusing on parenting young children, adolescents and
problem youth are offered in English and Spanish. These classes are
regularly conducted at our office and the Love and Logic®
groups can be held at area schools, nonprofit organizations, churches
and businesses.

Please choose from the following parent groups for more information:
Love
and Logic®: The Love and Logic® parenting training provides
parents with easy-to-use and practical techniques that help them to
create respectful and healthy relationships with children. This unique
approach to raising children puts the adults in control, teaches children
to be responsible, and prepares them for the real world. See schedule
of upcoming groups above for our next meeting. Appropriate for
families with children of any age.
Fortaleza
en la Familia (Strong Families): This 12-week family strengthening
program, held entirely in Spanish, will demonstrate different
ways for parents to guide their children and pass on the values of their
family and their culture. Childcare, life skills groups and supervised
study hall are available for children during the evening session. Appropriate
for families with children ages 0-10.
Parenting
with Love and Limits®: This highly-successful parenting
program focuses on helping parents establish loving limits and restore
nurturance in family relationships when children are exhibiting difficult
and challenging behaviors. Appropriate for families with children
ages 11-18.
