Practicum
for Masters and Doctoral Level Graduate Students
A training program for masters and doctoral level graduate students
in social work, psychology, and marriage and family therapy is offered by
Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers. This training program is designed
for graduate students who are seeking intensive study and supervision in
family therapy. The training program runs from September through May each
year. Trainees are expected to be on site for a minimum of sixteen hours
per week spread over a three day period. A three hour block of didactic
training on Wednesday afternoons is mandatory. In addition, the trainee
is expected to participate in collaborative team work two nights a week.
The remainder of the schedule is developed in consultation with the supervisor.
