Research
and dissemination of the approaches to working with vulnerable children
and families that are being pioneered at SCYFC are key components of our
mission. As our school and family therapy program strive to deliver innovative
services, our research team gathers and analyzes data about the processes
and outcomes of each program's work. Continuous evaluation of our programs
and input from colleagues and the community enable SCYFC to improve our
services for children and families. Publishing and presenting our research
findings allow us to share what we are learning with organizations interested
in our methods. Dr.
Ann Minnett leads our internal team of researchers, which includes
two research associates. Dr. J. Michael Coleman, dean at The University
of Texas at Dallas, performs annual external evaluations of our school
program. |
